My dog eats twice daily. Is it safe to give Entyce two times a day?

I am giving my dog entyce. He has not been interested in eating save for a few treats here and there. The directions say to only give once a day. But he eats twice A-day. And I gave it to him last night and he started eating but hes not eating this morning is it OK to give 2 doses a day since he eats twice A-day. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 12 years and 6 months old

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! No, Entyce should only be given once daily. This is a fairly new medication and studies have only been done on the once daily dosing. However, this medication should still be effective on a once daily doing schedule and the drug lingers in the system for that time period. Good luck and have a great day!
