My dog is dry heaving, not eating, and chewing grass. What's wrong?

My one and half year old border coli just start vomiting yesterday morning with no eating he still want to play and run he refuse to eat he just drink. He vomit nothing? He didn’t eat for 1 day. I notices he chewed some grass from the backyard and made himself vomit after! Still nothing came out no yellow or clear just the action of vomiting? Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 50 lbs

Loss of appetite and vomiting can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Len evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam.
