If this behavior is out of the ordinary for Cooper, perhaps he is acting this way because he is uncomfortable, in mild pain, or in an area that is unfamiliar to him. He may also be experiencing a greater stress level for one reason or another, causing him to act abnormally. It sounds like this hasn't been going on long. Since Cooper is stable and not showing any overt signs of clinical illness, with it being Easter, I would just closely monitor him at home for any signs of worsening in anyway. Should this be the case, get him into an emergency veterinarian. For the time being, simply monitor at home for normal appetite, thirst, gastrointestinal health, and any signs of sickness (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea). Schedule an appointment to see your regular veterinarian if the symptoms continue to be a bother.
