Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | unneutered | 3 months old
I just adopted a 3 month kitten and i feed him a cooked diet of boiled chicken and sweetpotatoes along with a supplement. I want to switch him to beef now. But my father has a theory that cats will grow big in size if we feed them beef as cows are large in size. Is it true? I feel like its a myth and that it wont make a difference in his size. Will it really make him big?

You are correct. That is definitely a myth. Feeding him beef will not make him bigger. Height/size is related to genetics. Diet has a minimal influence. You can feed him beef but it will not make him bigger than if you kept feeding the chicken. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
