My puppy has diarrhea again after roundworm medication. Why?

My puppy is two months old and has been having diarrhoea since I got him at 8 weeks. I have found roundworms and showed the vet and have had antibiotics and wormers but he seems to go back to having diarrhoea after he finishes medication. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 2 months and 14 days old

Your puppy may have to take a second round of wormer approximately 2 to three weeks after the first. Considering your puppy was severely infected with round worms (if you can see them= severe infection) these worms likely laid a lot of eggs which now have turned into larvae/worms and were not hit by the first round of the wormer. This should then hopefully alleviate the diarrhea.
