What exactly is this irritated lump on my dog's hind leg crease?

Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Female | spayed | 5 years and 6 months old | 24 lbs

Can you please tell me what this is, on my dog? It's in the crease almost, of one of her hind legs. Thanks So much!

Hello. This is a small tumor, probably benign, but since it looks a bit irritated I would have your veterinarian take a look. It may just require a watch & wait to see if it continues to be irritated, or your veterinarian may suggest removal & histopathology to identify the tissue type & make sure there is not anything further to be concerned about.
