My puppy survived parvo, and has been fine, but can other dogs get sick from him?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! A dog can continue to shed virus and affect other dogs for 3-6 weeks after being successfully treated for parvovirus. For that reason, Flynn should stay away from other dogs for that time period to avoid infecting other dogs. Good luck and have a great day!

I'm sorry your puppy had parvo, but it's great that she survived it! Puppies who have parvo are typically contagious and shedding the virus for up to six weeks after contracting the disease. Given that it's been seven weeks since she has had it, she should no longer be contagious.
