Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 29 days old

Pierre is infected by ringworm and I did brought it to the vet just 3 days back. It's now eating medicine and applying them too.It lost a lot of fur...and after a few days of applying medicine, the wound around the ear is better but the some fur from other area just came out today. Will they still continue to loss fur at other area other than the part that's I'm applying medicine on it?

If you are giving oral medication as well then hopefully hair will stop Falling out soon. However, it can take a few weeks to really slow ringworm down, and then a few more weeks to really get rid of it. If in 2 weeks new spots are still forming then I would have a follow up appointment with your veterinarian. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
