My cat has cold symptoms: leaking eyes, hard breathing. What to do?

Hi, my cat is 10 months old. I think he has a cold, but I also suspected poisoning. His eyes and nose are leaking, he breathes hard, mostly with his mouth and he doesn't eat well. The other four cats also started sneezing and they look sick. The vet is far from here, so can I do something, maybe clean his nose with warm water and cotton pads? Thanks :).
