Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 55 lbs
Just a quick question. My dog has a red looking bump in the corner of her eye. Not really sure how to explain it. I've attached a picture.

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It is very difficult to tell much from the photos. It doesn't look like a bump, it looks more like red skin like she scraped it or something. The eyeball itself looks fine and the eye does not appear red or irritated which is good. I suggest you just monitor this throughout the weekend and if no improvement by early next week then get her to your vet for an exam. I don't think I'd be too worried at this stage. Hope this helps. Best wishes!

It could be Ginger has an eye infection. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet immediately, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please take her into a vet ASAP. Best of luck.

Unfortunately with the pictures you provided, I can't see any red in Tobby's eye. Even if the pictures did show it, I cannot diagnose anything without seeing him in person. I recommend giving your vet a call now to make an appointment for him to be seen. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be examined by a vet promptly. This is because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. The vet can diagnose what is causing the red in his eye, and how best to treat it. Best of luck.

This could be due to an eye infection, injury to the eyes, or allergies. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I'd take Sera into a vet now.
