My guinea pig's eye is shut and crying. What can I do to help?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female | unspayed | 2 days old

I noticed he or she is crying often so i checked and i relized one of her eyes was shout close i dont know how to help her or him, i tried feeding it so it would be starved but, im not sure how to take care of a blind guenia pig and the vet only had an opening for next week. So,what should i do to help him or her survive?

Try using a warm, moist cloth to remove any discharge and/or crusts from the eye so she can try and open her eye. You may also want to try and flush the eye with some saline/artificial tears.
