My dog has stomach pain, lethargy, won't eat or walk. What's wrong?

Mizzy started having pain in stomach a week ago we took her to vets, who said it was constipation , we told vets she had been defacating regular at least twice a day as normal. They still insisted it was constipation and kept her for a day , we picked her up Monday night and she was lethargic and still showing signs of pain, we took her back the next day and they have had her until tonight and said she has heart problem, we have her at home now, she won’t eat ,respond to us and can hardly walk. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 12 years and 2 months old | 9.9 lbs

I am concerned that is being missed, or perhaps the right tests aren't being run, in order to find out specifically what is wrong with Mizzy. It seems to me that your suspicions are correct - why would she be constipated if she has been defecating twice a day??? I would recommend following up with a different vet, or perhaps even a specialist, at this point, who is capable of giving you an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Best of luck.
