Why are my turkey's wattles lumpy, purple, and swollen? Is it serious?

Hello, I have a one year old turkey(Tom) his wattles have become like lumps and the bottom ones are turning purple any idea what it is? Any help is appreciated and I have looked up other diseases but none match mine

Without seeing a photo or knowing any other symptoms it would be hard to tell. Frostbite if you're in a cold area of the US, growths/tumors, nutrition issues, illnesses and more are all potential causes of what you are describing. If he is acting very ill, separating him from the rest of the flock into a hospital pen may help. If the lumps continue to worsen, do not improve or he shows other signs of illness, seeking veterinary care in person is best.
