Why is my aging dog restless, pacing, and crying only at night?

Dog acts odd overnight, heavy breathing, crying, will pace the room. But does not exhibit these same behavior suing daylight house when we are awake and move around the house. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 11 years and 9 months old

It is characterized by pacing, accidents in the home, vocalizing more, mixing up their days and nights as well as becoming disoriented.
