Why is my dog having breathing issues after taking two medications?

Hi My boy overlick his right paw so his vet prescribed cetrizine just few days ago. Today i had some important guests and i consulted with a vet who said i can give one chlorpromazine to my boy to calm him. So i did and after that my boy have some difficulties in breathing when lay down and sleep. Please help me . This problem occured just few hours ago and i dont know what is the reasen? Cetrizine? Chlorpromazine? what should i do now?!

These drugs are both depressants and can be exaggerated when giving together. This can cause extreme sleepiness and low blood pressure in high doses. Difficulty breathing is not expected, but is very concerning, because this can be a life-threatening problem. Considering this, I recommend having a vet evaluate Ceasar as soon as possible. I also recommend not giving the chlorpromazine again without consulting your veterinarian. I hope that helps and Ceasar gets better soon.
