My cat has bright red blood and mucus in her poop. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 6 lbs

My housecat estimate five years old female neuter up to date indoor only cat has bright mucus blood in feces at the end of going. It’s soft but formed. Any suggestions on ailment?

You can add a probiotic to the diet to help and this can be purchased at any pet store or vets office. The other recommendation would be to find a different food. Try to pick one with a different meat ingredient than what you are currently on to see if it is a food allergy
