My puppy has swollen face/paws and is itchy. Is it allergies?

My 5 month old puppy hand swollen eyes and a swollen snout this morning and part of her paw was also swollen she appeared to be itchy as well. I gave her Benadryl and the swelling has gone down but does this mean my dog has seasonal allergies and I will need to continue to give her this? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 5 months old | 20 lbs

These types of reactions are not usually associated with seasonal allergies. I would expect that she perhaps had an insect sting or a spider bite. If the swelling returns she should be seen by a veterinarian. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
