My dog has green eye discharge. Is Lotemax safe without a vet visit?

My dog has a lot of green discharge in both eyes. She has had this happen often and it seems to come and go. It seems to be prolonged this time around. Can I use Lotemax on her without having her seen by our vet? Pet's info: Dog | Shar Pei | Female | spayed | 100 lbs

I don't recommend it. The integrity of the eye needs to be checked out by a vet before treating it to make sure the structure is sound and it's the correct treatment. I would take Lily into the vet. Best of luck.
