I found this spot on my dogs stomach and I’m not sure what it is. I have researched but I haven’t found anything that looks like this. When I slightly squeeze on it the black part of the bump starts to come out but I don’t think it’s a pimple. It’s the only one I can find on his stomach.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bash. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian. He could have a cyst that has ruptured with some of its contents appearing black. There is also a fly larva that can be seen emerging from the skin. This is called a cuterebra. His veterinarian will examine him and be determine the cause of the mass and if any treatment is needed. Are you sure it isn't a nipple (hard for me to tell since the picture is a close-up)? It could also be a cutaneous horn. Ultimately, it should be examined in-person by a vet. If the vet is concerned about it, they may recommend a biopsy or removal.
