My cat has chronic gum inflammation, should I remove his teeth?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 9.9208017983 lbs

Dr. DAVID ELBEZE ,i took him to the veterinarian and suggested that he take off his three teeth. Is this useful? Note a year ago I treated him with an anti - inflammatory, but his condition did not improve but a little , can you help me? thanks

If you are talking about the stomatitis (chronic inflammation in the gums) removing the teeth can sometimes be helpful. There are medications that I have seen help some (like Atopica). If you are going to be removing all of his teeth then I would recommend going to a veterinary dentist and have xrays done after to confirm that the roots are removed.
