Why do my dog's gunky eyes keep coming back after treatment?

Hi my dog keeps getting gunky eyes when I use the antibiotic drops or gel it goes but within a couple of weeks it has returned My vet has checked her eyes for in turned lashes there aren't any. I also give her piriton daily for allergies Any suggestions please? Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 8 years and 3 months old | 14.5 lbs
