Is it normal for my puppy to cough after running and playing?

I have a 6 month old puppy that likes to get whatever she can into her mouth. Whenever she runs around, she'll start coughing as if she was trying to get something out of her throat. I looked at her throat and didn't see anything. She still eats, drinks, and plays just fine so I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. Is it normal for a puppy to cough after running around? It is not normal for her to be coughing after playing but if she has a touch of kennel cough then that may be why she is coughing. I suggest you get her to your veterinarian for an exam to be on the safe side.
