Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 years and 4 months old | 29.9 lbs
I adopted my male 6 year old cat 3 days ago and he is barely eating and accidentally defecated in and out of his litter box today. He is 30 pounds so I am worried that he will lose too much weight by not eating, what should I do? I’ve tried wet food, dry food, human meat, and heating up his food.

Poor Minu. It's actually quite serious when a cat won't eat, and if they go long enough without eating, they will develop a fatty liver. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment, so it's important to avoid this. Please take him into a vet first thing in the morning. Best of luck.
