Pet's info: Dog | English Springer Spaniel | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 40 lbs
My 3 year old springer spaniel started crying when we get home and take him out of his kennel. I check his paws, pad, ears, and all around his body for any pain areas. He did not react. He is running and walking fine. Normal pee and poop. But I noticed when he stands he is favoring one side but still no pain. He is also eating fine and drinking water.

Just because you were unable to elicit a pain response from Chapman does not necessarily mean he isn't uncomfortable or painful somewhere in the body. I am glad to hear that he seems generally happy and healthy right now and is doing his normal thing. If this continues, you can certainly monitor at home for any other negative symptoms. If the crying or whining continues with consistency for more than a day I would definitely get him checked to make sure nothing serious is going on. Hope this makes sense.
