My CKCS has arrhythmia, but I hear nothing. Is the vet wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male

Hello My 9 month old CKC went to the vet she thinks he has arrythmia...WITHOUT a murmure... I've been reading about it since and know that CKC are very subjet to stress& anxiety in new environements(ex: vet's) ok so knowing that I listented to my dog's heart with my stethoscope once he's was calme, laying beside me almost asleep and nothing!!!! Everyheart beat is dead on!!(*I'm a nurse so have a good idea what it's supposed to sound like)Seeing a cardiolgist in 2 weeks....could the vet be wrong?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Leopold. I recommend keeping your appointment with the cardiologist. Some arrhythmias can be intermittent. His breed, unfortunately, has a high rate of heart disease so it is worth having him thoroughly evaluated. If the cardiologist does not detect an arrhythmia, a holter monitor may be recommended for a longer assessment of his cardiac rhythm. I hope this information helps!
