My outdoor cat's kittens disappeared. Is this a kitten's skull?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Recently my cat gave birth to 2 little kittens and today they just disappeared. We heard some noises throughout the night because we do not keep them at home, my cat is an outdoor cat, and I found this this morning. My question is could this be any part of the kittens’s body or head?

Yes, it could possibly be the skull. It is possible that Izy isn’t a good mother or that a predator got to the kittens. I would recommend that you have her spayed in a few weeks after she is healed from the delivery to prevent additional litters.
