No that is not true. It is just a poor quality food, which is why Petsmart is no longer carrying it b/c it does not meet their baseline requirements. Certain foods may have certain chemicals in it to add flavoring, but no prescription drugs are not commonly found in any pet food unless by accident, at which point it would go on the recall list.
