My 1-year-old dog ate chocolate crispy rice. Do I need to worry?

Hello I have a 1 year old dog she si a crossbreed of shih tzu and jackrussell . She accidentally ate a small amount of chocolate crispy rice she weights 8 kilograms. Do I have to worry ? Thank you

She's really cute! If you're talking about a chocolate flavored rice cereal, there shouldn't be a problem aside from a possible upset stomach from eating something unfamiliar. Chocolate toxicity is serious, but there is so little actual chocolate and therefore very little of the substance called theobromine that is what is toxic to dogs and cats. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous it is. Unless she got into actual chocolate such as chocolate chips, bakers chocolate or ate a candy bar, she should be fine.
