My deaf senior Jack Russell shakes and collapses. Is it vestibular?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 18 years and 2 months old | 12 lbs

I have a female Jack Russel that is 18 years old. She is deaf but when I bang on a metal object her eyes is blinking fast, head is shaking up and down and look if she wants to collapse. This is not done on purpuse. Any sugestions.

I am sorry we couldn't get to your question sooner. The symptoms you have described may be caused by vestibular syndrome.
