My dog threw up and is screaming in her crate. What's wrong?

My dog threw up a lot just now. I put her in her crate to rest like normal but she is screaming and yelping. Does she just want out or could something be wrong?

It sounds as Bailey is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Hello, sorry to hear about Bailey. It sounds like she may have had an upset stomach from what she got into. Since she is otherwise stable, I would continue to monitor her for continued GI signs (vomiting, decreased appetite, or diarrhea) and if you note any of these then definitely have Bailey evaluated by your veterinarian. My dog keeps on throwing up but she,and sobbing but groaning at the same time.
