Is it normal for my 6-year-old Rottweiler's black fur to turn brown?

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 80 lbs

I have a Rottweiler and her hair is changing from the Block to a lighter brown underneath the block I can see more Brown what can it be? She will be 6 yrs old in june . Shes fixed. And her appetite is normal and her bathroom visits are normal.

It is not very clear from the picture is this is undercoat which is dead and needs to be brushed out or deshed (this would be loose and come out easily with a comb or shedding tool) or if the coat is actually loosing pigment. Some pigment loss with age is quite common but it can also be an indication of poor digestion//absorption, liver issues or dietary issues. A high quality food such as hills vet essentials or royal canin rottweiler which has been enriched with all the nutrients required for a full coat and colour - improvement would be expected over 4-6 weeks. Monitor closely for nay other signs and symptoms such as weight loss, vomiting, diarrhoea etc which would indicate the need to investigate underlying medical causes
