My sleeping dog panicked and wouldn't move when I tried to move him.

I want to find out what's wrong with my dog. He was sleeping not too long ago but when I tried moving him to scoot down to the feet of my bed, he started panicking and looked like he couldn't really move

I hope that Chuco has been back to normal! That does sound odd. Was he asleep when you tired to move him? Its not uncommon for dogs to be startled when they are asleep which can look like panicking, and they also sometimes refuse to move when they are in a comfortable sleeping spot, so I suspect it may have been more that he was not wanting to move as apposed to not being able to move. Having said that, if he's continued to act abnormal, or if he's not walking normally and well at this point, please take him in to see your vet. Thank you for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
