My dog threw up a wiry substance, hair, and rice. Should I worry?

Hi, my dog threw this up while I was at work. I have been feeding her rice the past two days because she has recently lost weight and I was trying to help her gain it back. So my thought is that is possibly what the thing that looks like rice is. The color makes me very uneasy though. It was a wiry like substance, and the dark hair twisted in is my hair. She is also biting at herself a lot, but that is not uncommon for her because she has allergies. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 32 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question. That looks like it could be made up of hair, rice, and some sort of foreign body. Lola may have been eating grass as well if she had an upset stomach, and that could cause the color of the vomit. Keep an eye on her for now, and if she vomits again, have her seen by a vet.
