My cat likes baby food with lemon. Is citrus safe for cats to eat?

My cats seem to like human babyfood. I bought a few of the first foods meats, but noticed the beef contains lemon juice. Should I throw it out? I've heard citrus can cause illness in cats.

In small amounts such as what would be in baby food, its not going to cause a problem. Just be sure you are giving the baby food as a supplemental treat, not as a primary diet source, and keep an eye on her weight as it is rather calorie dense.
