My dog ate an oatmeal cookie with raisin juice. Will he be okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 19 lbs

My shichon (19 lbs) ate 3/4 of an iced oatmeal cookie someone dropped. The ingredients say raisin juice. Is going to be ok?

My gut reaction here is that there is not a need to be concerned. However, we don't know the exact mechanism of toxicity in grapes and raisins, so I cannot give you a 100% guarantee that there's no danger. To be on the ultra-safe side, you can call animal poison control. There is a fee, but they will have a database they can search to see if there's any reports of problems from raisin juice as an ingredient.
