Why does my dog have loose, mushy stool and diarrhea for 4 days?

Hi my 14 month old dog has had loose stool for 4 days now. Its soft but formed first then pure mush comes out after. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 6.8 lbs

I'm sorry that Chase is having some troubles! You can offer a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice for the next few days, and add a probiotic formulated for dogs, Heres a good one: If its not improving within 2-3 days, get him in to see your vet. If he starts having additional symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea, not eating, acting lethargic) don't wait, take him to the vet. Thanks for asking PetCoach!
