Why does my puppy eat poop? How to stop it and fix bad breath?

Hi.. Hope you are doing well.. Mini is 10 months old but she hasn't stopped eating her own poop yet.. I have tried all methods, but no use.. Its so embarassing when she eats it infront of others, she smells like poop because of it.. Im worried about her health too.. I would really appreciate if you help mini with this problem.. Also how can i keep her mouth fresh, away from this poop odor?? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 12 days old

Hello. There are just so many issues that can cause a pet to want their own feces. You can use a dental brush & doggie toothpaste, or use a finger cot. There are also water additives that contain chlorhexidine which be placed in fresh water daily that will decrease bacterial numbers every time Mini takes a drink of water.
