My cat has a small green bump on her back. Should I be worried?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Korat | Female | spayed | 14 years old

My cat has a small green bump on her back approximately the size of a bb. Any idea what it is? She's active, an indoor cat, uses her litterbox normally, and eats/drinks regularly too.

This growth needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take her to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
