My budgie's nose changed color. How do I tell its gender?

Question

I have two budgies and I dont know what their gender is. Its been about a year since I got them and nither has layed eggs. At first one of them had a pink nose which I thought meant it was female but now its light blue, what does all of this mean? I need a bit more knowledge on budgies before I can determine my next course of action, if you have reccomendations or tips please write back. Thank you! Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Male
