My dog is leaking poop while sleeping. Is it due to antibiotics?

My dog recently started passing little bit of her stools in room which she never used to do it earlier.it comes out even in her sleep or when she stands after waking up,stool would come out on its own.this never happened before.can it be due to antibiotics in which she is recently on for her bladder infection?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chutki. Fecal incontinence is not a typical side effect of antibiotics. I most commonly see this happen in older dogs who struggle with mobility. In this case, it is painful for them to posture to defecate normally. So the feces will simply fall out. Other dogs will have weakness in their anal sphincter as they age and no longer to be able to control their bowel movements. There is not an age included with Chutki's profile so I do not know if this is a possibility for her. I recommend discussing the problem with her veterinarian. I hope this information helps!
