My dog licks shampoo bubbles. Is it safe? Why do dogs zoom after bath?

Whenever I bathe my dog he tries to lick my hand if it has bubbles from the shampoo, but obviously i dont let him. he has never been sick after a bath, so if just a small amount of bubbles got in his mouth it wouldn’t be a problem right? also is it normal for dogs to run around after a bath?

These are both quite common behaviours and as long as you are using a safe, dog shampoo I would not be too concerned about a few bubbles. Some strong medicated shampoos can be quite irritant and may cause oral irritation and vomiting if ingested
