My dog's poop was green then normal. Should I be concerned?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Peggy Sue pooped very green poop this morning. I'm concerned about that. I should have taken a picture but my phone is broken and couldn't. It was only green for the first turd lol, then mostly normal looking after. Should I be worried or wait until she poops tonight and see it its normal?

Changes in stool color can happen, especially if there was a change in the diet. I would not be concerned about a one-time color change if Peggy Sue is otherwise normal. If she has a poor appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea, then she should get checked out by a vet.
