Vomiting could be caused by a number of things, including parasites, diet changes, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, food sensitivity/allergy, decreased pancreatic function, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please have your dog seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible to allow for diagnosis and treatment. If your dog could have eaten anything such as medications, household cleaners, plants, toys, food scraps, or garbage, please let the vet know about it to help them determine if there could be a toxicity. Best of luck to you both, and I hope your dog feels better soon!

Hi there! Sorry to hear that Mela is not feeling well. The clinical signs you describe are concerning for possible dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, gastrointestinal foreign body obstruction, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Mela evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. At the very least they can address dehydration if present and start her on anti-nausea medications. Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for your girl!

Persistent vomiting is a very concerning condition and needs to be seen by a veterinarian today. The causes for this could be a gastrointestinal problem but also an intestinal foreign body causing a blockage. Persistent vomiting also causes metabolic problems. Please take Blu to your vet now.
