Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | 2 years and 6 months old | 28 lbs

My corgi has been diarrhea off and on for a fre days now. I eill happen for like 4 days, then his stills return solid. A fee weeks later, same thing happens. Well im in the middle of anioher, and there was blood. Not in his original stool. He’ll stop and act like he’s, but then theres just blood on his fur. I came back and wiped the area with a paper towel. Looks “watered down” for a lack of better drscritpion. As far as his behaviors, he does not act any different than normal.

Blood in the stool and diarrhea could be caused by parasites, change in diet, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please make an appointment to have O’Ryan seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible, as diarrhea and blood in the stool can lead to dehydration and anemia, and can be very dangerous if left untreated. I recommend taking in a fecal sample from O’Ryan to your vet as well, as that may aid them in making a diagnosis. Good luck, and I hope he feels better soon!
