Leopard gecko night heat: Do I need a red lamp to keep him warm?

i got a leopard gecko today and i was scared that during the night he’d get too cold, i’m having trouble keeping the temperature around 80-90. i have a day light on it already. so should i put a night red light on him to keep him warm even though he doesn’t need it? Pet's info: Reptile | Gecko | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Dwight. Do you know how cold it is getting at night? If dropping below 70, probably needs a red heat lamp or ceramic heater, neither of which should affect his diurnal cycle. Good luck.
