Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered
I adopted a two male kittens two days ago. And I noticed that sometimes one of my kittens has eye irritation in his right eye. He'll rub it with his paw and he won't be able to open it. I've helped him by blowing into his eye and rubbing it with a damp towel and a dry cloth. After a couple minutes his eye will open up again normal. But once again the situation happens again. It happens about once per day.

It sounds like Simon either has an eye infection or he has something stuck in the eye. Rubbing the eye can make it worse and he could accidentally scratch the cornea. Since he is uncomfortable and with the potential for further complications, I recommend to have him examined by his veterinarian today. Best to play it safe. He should also wear an elizabethan collar to prevent further rubbing. Best of luck.
