My puppy ate a dead bird. Is it dangerous even if he seems fine?

My 5 month old boxer puppy ate a dead bird. I have heard that they can't digest these items and it can kill them? I am really worried I tried to get it away from him but I couldn't. He is acting fine normal even but I am still freaking out! Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 18 days old | 15 lbs

Vinnie is such a cutie! Eating a dead bird can make him sick, but dogs eat really gross things all the time like poop and are fine. Just keep an eye on him. If you see vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, or lethargy, have him seen by a vet. Best of luck.
