My dog was accidentally kicked by a child. Is he hurt if no signs yet?

My dog was lying next to the sofa and my little cousin didn’t see him and was trying to get up, and accidentally hit him with her feet. She didn’t fully step on him and he didn’t whine, but he did try to bite her foot (maybe he was scared?). This happened an hour ago, if he was hurt would he show signs by now? (he’s moving/drinking and eating as normal btw). Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

She likely just scared him. If he is happy, walking normally, and eating normally this is good. On occasion soreness will not manifest right away but if he continues to be normal by tomorrow he is likely fine. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
