Is this new spot on my dog's skin ringworm or just an irritation?

I am trying to figure out if my dog has ring worm or if it is something less serious. This appeared just today. It does not appear to be raised, and he is acting normally. He has no other spots, and if it is important to know he just got fixed last Monday. Pet's info: Dog | Brittany | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 35 lbs

Hi, it does not look like a typical ringworm lesion. I would keep an eye on it, it should just gradually become less pink and skin should go back to normal within 1 week. Hope this helps ! Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
