My ferret passed fabric, but still has thin poop. Is it a blockage?

My ferret has really thin poop so I feared a blockage and gave him ferret lax. He passed a bunch of red fabric (part of his bed which is now removed) but his poop is still really thin and he has a hard time passing it. Otherwise seems healthy still eating, drinking and playing. Any advice

Thanks for reaching out about Dexter. If a gastrointestinal obstruction, needs to see a veterinarian, as soon as possible. A full obstruction can lead to an intestinal rupture, requiring immediate surgery. The other concern would be continued foreign body in the stomach that could start to pass later. Good luck.
